Professional Fire & Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are contracted by the Village of North Bay to serve its residents through an intergovernmental agreement with the Caledonia Fire Department (CFD). The CFD is an all-hazards career department that delivers paramedic-level Advanced Life Support (ALS) emergency medical response and full fire protection, suppression, and prevention services. 

CFD operates out of its Station 12 Headquarters on Chester Lane and Four Mile Road—located approximately 2.25 miles from North Bay's northern border—ensuring rapid response times.   

Additional services provided to North Bay residents include:

  • Patient transport choice: medically stable patients may be transported to any area hospital, including All
    Saints – Ascension Racine, Aurora – Mt. Pleasant, Froedtert, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, and
    others throughout southeastern Wisconsin.

  • Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH): proactive home visits including safety checks, smoke detector
    installation, fall prevention education, and medication reconciliation — at no additional charge.

  • ISO Class 3/5 rated department — top 7% nationally in hydrant-served areas.
